Cleansing, toning and moisturising
- Make sure you wash your hands before this process. Notify client also.
- Make sure mirror lights are turned on as they show what the eye may not see alone on the clients face.
- Make sure couch roll is placed on mirror counter.
- Use a cape to cover any clothing underneath
- Make sure you do a consultation beforehand to find out if they have any allergies or wearing contacts.
Cleansing

Standing
behind model using cotton pad, apply cleanser in circular motions using the
mirror for guidance.
· Make sure it is rubbed into the skin well including the hairline, neck and ears.
· Make sure this process has removed all make-up , including from lash line ( using cotton bud and cleanser gently sweep off )

Moisturing
Standing behind model again, use a pea size amount of moisturiser rub
into the tip of your fingers then gently massage onto clients face.
Tips
- · When you have a male client use tissues not cotton, to avoid getting cotton caught in stubble.
- · If client has waterproof mascara ask them to remove themselves as the eyes are a sensitive area
- · Talk your client through everything you’re doing.
- · Make sure there is no moisturiser or cleanser left in hair line
- · Always use sensitive skin products as they cater to all skin types.
